Amusnet expands South African footprint with strategic Sunbet launch

Amusnet has launched its gaming portfolio on Sunbet, the online betting and gaming platform of South Africa's Sun International. The partnership combines Amusnet's slot catalogue with Sunbet's digital ecosystem and is intended to bring well-known land-based casino titles to mobile players across South Africa.
Amusnet Country Director for South Africa Cameron Green described the deal as a landmark milestone for the company's Cape Town team and its global operations, noting South African players' affinity for traditional slot mechanics. Sunbet Casino Product Manager Tyler Gentle said the integration enhances Sunbet's online content offer and reinforces its position as a leading digital operator in the country.
The companies said the collaboration draws on Amusnet's regional operations in Cape Town and Sunbet's omnichannel ecosystem, Sun MVG. Amusnet views the launch as a springboard for further growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. Announced Oct. 16, 2026.
