Brightstar Lottery signs two-year contract extension with the New York Lottery

Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation has extended its lottery technology and services contract with the New York State Gaming Commission for two years.

Brightstar Lottery said its wholly owned subsidiary, Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation, signed a two-year contract extension with the New York State Gaming Commission, which carries out the New York Lottery's functions. The extension keeps Brightstar providing lottery technology and services in New York.

The company said it has supplied the lottery's central system, claims and payments system, retailer training, field services, call center support, and instant ticket warehousing and distribution. Brightstar has served the New York Lottery since 1986.

Scott Gunn, Brightstar's chief operating officer for North America Lottery, said the company is committed to meeting its contractual obligations under the extension and to supporting the lottery's work benefiting New York public schools.
