First-ever $5m jackpot by Aristocrat Gaming lands at Aria Resort & Casino

ARIA Resort & Casino and Aristocrat Gaming announced that a Las Vegas resident won the first-ever $5 million jackpot on October 14. The anonymous player hit the grand prize on a $5 million Dragon Link game in the resort’s high-limit room, wagering $50 on a $1 machine. It was the first full $5 million top prize since the games debuted in July.

ARIA President and COO Sean Lanni said the win reflected the property’s aim to offer extraordinary experiences, noting the games are also featured at Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He added that the relationship with Aristocrat supports high-energy gaming floors and future opportunities.

Aristocrat Gaming CEO Craig Toner said the jackpot was the kind of moment the company envisioned for the $5 million links, calling it a sign of the excitement and potential of premium gaming experiences. The win also underscores MGM Resorts’ focus on high-limit entertainment, according to the announcement.
