Galaxy Gaming appoints John Boushy to Board of Directors following Meredith Brill’s resignation

Galaxy Gaming has named John M. Boushy to its board effective October 21, 2026, succeeding Meredith Brill, who is stepping down as a Class II director after four years.

Galaxy Gaming said John M. Boushy will join its Board of Directors on October 21, 2026, filling the seat held by Meredith Brill. Brill, a Class II director, told the board she intends to step down after four years; the company thanked her for her service and wished her well.

Boushy has more than 45 years of leadership experience across gaming, hospitality, technology and entertainment. He founded Boushy Consulting and has advised gaming operators and investors. His prior roles include CEO, president and director of Ameristar Casinos, plus more than two decades at Harrah’s Entertainment in senior positions including CIO and chief integration officer. He also co-founded and chairs the parent company of ReelMetrics.

Board chairman Mark Lipparelli said Boushy’s strategic, technology, M&A, operations and governance experience would be valuable as Galaxy pursues long-term growth. Lipparelli also credited Brill’s insights and guidance with helping position the company for its next phase.
