Greentube raises the spirits with Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini
Greentube has released Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini, a Halloween-themed addition to its Piggy Prizes series featuring locked prizes, piggy pots and a second Gambini character.
Greentube, Novomatic's digital gaming division, has released Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini, a Halloween-themed addition to its Piggy Prizes series. The game retains the family's locked-prize mechanic, with coin and pot symbols padlocked on the reels and unlocked by Gambini or Ghost symbols on the centre reel; both characters also act as wilds.
The Ghost of Gambini symbol adds coins and jackpots and can increase the value of an existing coin, Greentube said. Magic Spin can stop the centre reel with a Gambini symbol, while Magic Rewind can move it back to land one and rewind non-winning reels onto locked jackpot symbols. Gambini symbols feed one or both piggy pots; when a pot pops, Lock & Spin starts with three spins, or four if both pots pop together.
Frames placed by ghosts convert to cash prizes or jackpots when the feature ends, and a pot popped by the Ghost of Gambini triggers Super Lock & Spin, where only Gold Ghosts land and every Gold frame awards a jackpot. Richard Ganster, Greentube's director of games strategy and games portfolio management, said the second Gambini builds base-game momentum toward the bonus and that the Halloween theme suits operators entering Q4.
