MA Gaming Commission shows Wynn Resort’s Boston Casino with lowest GGR since February 2021
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission reported that Wynn Resorts’ Encore Boston Harbor generated $46.1m in September, the lowest monthly total since February 2021, amid a strike by 1,350 casino employees.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission reported that September revenue at Wynn Resorts’ Encore Boston Harbor was $46.1m, the lowest since February 2021. Gross gaming revenue fell 22% from September 2025 and 26% from August 2026. The figures cover the first weeks of a strike by 1,350 casino employees that began on September 4, 2026.
The commission was scheduled to discuss the strike’s financial impact at its October 22 meeting. UNITE HERE Local 26 said the revenue figures do not capture reputational effects, citing a decline in average Google reviews from 4.46 before the strike to 3.87 afterward. The report also did not address reduced food and beverage operations or an estimated $200,000 weekly cost for police details outside the casino.
Wynn’s third-quarter earnings report on November 5 may provide more detail. Neither that report nor the commission’s data includes results from October 2026, all 21 days of which had been affected by the strike as of the report.
