Rio Hotel & Casino opens Dragon Lair gaming room by Aristocrat Gaming

Rio Hotel & Casino has opened Dragon Lair by Aristocrat Gaming, a dedicated gaming room on the Rio casino floor in the former poker room space. The venue brings together Aristocrat's Dragon Link and Phoenix Link slot families in a setting designed for fans of both collections.

The room focuses on multi-denomination games built from the Lightning Link title. Dragon Link uses Hold & Spin and an Orb trigger symbol across titles, while Phoenix Link adds features including scaling Grand and Major jackpots, Free Games, Wild Multipliers and Twin Spins, according to Aristocrat.

Rod Turlan, president and general manager of Rio Hotel & Casino, said the room combines game content and an environment intended to create a new destination on the casino floor and reflects continued collaboration with Aristocrat. Kurt Gissane, chief commercial officer, Americas at Aristocrat Gaming, said the companies aimed to create a destination for Aristocrat's loyal players that offers energy, variety and excitement.
