Sunbet signs extension to Bede Gaming partnership

Sunbet has renewed its technology partnership with Bede Gaming, extending a collaboration of nearly ten years as the South African operator pursues growth across three markets.

Sunbet, the digital arm of Sun International, has signed another contract renewal with long-standing platform provider Bede Gaming. The South African sports betting brand said the extension supports its digital proposition and continued expansion.

Sun International's H1 2026 financial update reported a 36% year-on-year revenue increase for the digital brand and a 43% rise in igaming gross gaming revenue. Sunbet now operates in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia using Bede's internationally configurable platform, the companies said.

Sunbet CEO Simon Gregory said the brand has ambitions across its three markets and praised Bede's support and collaboration. Bede Chief Legal & Client Success Officer Kirsty Stewart said the company was proud of the relationship and the partner's success. Bede has provided tailored features and integrations with sportsbook provider Kambi and CRM platform Xtremepush.
