KingMidas Games joins Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters to accelerate development with Game in a Box

KingMidas Games has joined Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters program, gaining access to Game in a Box technology and distribution support as it seeks faster game development and wider international reach.

KingMidas Games has joined Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters program and will use the supplier’s proprietary Game in a Box technology. The studio said the arrangement gives its team greater control over production, allowing it to adjust mechanics, rework math models and server-side logic, and test gameplay directions during development.

KingMidas said the partnership supports its international growth strategy by combining its creative expertise with Yggdrasil’s technology, commercial support and distribution network of more than 2,000 brands. Yggdrasil said KingMidas brings a portfolio of more than 150 titles and collaborations with Japanese IP holders.

Sargis Khachatryan, global commercial director at KingMidas Games, said the deal aligns with the studio’s ambition to create distinctive experiences and reach more markets. Zoe Bird, head of YGG Masters, said the studio’s gameplay and Japanese IP collaborations add something fresh to the program and that Yggdrasil looks forward to supporting its first title launch.
