Casa Italia to launch at ICE Barcelona 2027 – connecting Italy’s gaming ecosystem with the world

IGE, GN Media and WorldGaming plan a Casa Italia hub at ICE Barcelona 2027 to represent Italy’s regulated gaming sector and foster international dialogue.

Casa Italia, an initiative by IGE – Italian Gaming Expo & Conference and GN Media in strategic partnership with WorldGaming, the organisation behind ICE, is set to launch at ICE Barcelona 2027. Organisers describe it as a platform for Italy’s regulated gaming ecosystem to gain international representation, dialogue and networking opportunities. It will be inaugurated on Monday 18 January 2027 at 12:00.

The project is intended to serve as a meeting point for industry, institutions, regulatory authorities and trade associations, rather than an exhibition pavilion. Its programme is expected to address regulated markets, innovation, consumer protection, sustainability and responsible gaming, with networking events and links to ICE initiatives involving the international regulatory community.

Alessio Crisantemi, founder of IGE and head of GN Media, said the aim is to give the ecosystem a shared home and a stronger international voice, adding that Italy is a major market and a source of industrial and regulatory expertise. Stuart Hunter, managing director of events at WorldGaming, said the initiative can connect Italian expertise with ICE’s global community and encourage exchanges among businesses, institutions and regulators.
